As a tax advisor and certified accountant, Thorsten Ziegemeier focused early on providing comprehensive support to mid-sized companies and their shareholders. In addition to auditing and preparing annual and consolidated financial statements, his work also focuses on business consulting. Furthermore, Thorsten Ziegemeier has extensive expertise in the area of contractual review. He can ensure on behalf of his clients, for instance, that complex purchasing and sales agreements or credit agreements are handled in accordance with contractual provisions. The objective behind his work is always to proactively identify the needs of his clients and offer high-quality and pragmatic solutions.
Thorsten Ziegemeier has worked with RLT in Duisburg since 2010, and was appointed as a partner in 2011. Previously, he served as a Senior Manager and authorized officer for KPMG, focused on mid-sized businesses. During this time, he gained extensive expertise in advising mid-sized businesses with international group structures.
Thorsten Ziegemeier got his degree in business, and studied business administration at the University of Cologne. There, he specialized early on in the areas of corporate auditing, tax law and business taxation. He successfully completed the professional exam to become a tax advisor in 2002. He was certified as an accountant in 2004. Thorsten Ziegemeier speaks German and English.
