Thomas Althoff specializes in tax advising for mid-sized companies and their shareholders. His clients also include domestic subsidiaries of international corporate groups. He has a unique range of expertise in international tax law and VAT advising. Based on his work in various boards and participation in international events, he is an active member of the international recommendation association mint.alliance.

Thomas Althoff has been a partner in the RLT Group since 2009. After working at the headquarters in Essen, today he is active at RLT’s Duisburg location. Mr. Althoff previously worked at Deloitte & Touche GmbH auditing firm in Düsseldorf as well as Treuhand- und Revisions AG Niederrhein in Krefeld.

Thomas Althoff completed his business administration degree at the Münster University of Applied Sciences. His qualification as a tax advisor followed in 2002. He also completed the degree Master of International Taxation (M.I.Tax) in 2008 at the University of Hamburg. Thomas Althoff speaks German and English.
