Managing Director of the RLT corporate sustainability solutions
With his extensive experience from many years of working on the auditing, consulting and operational company side, Stefan Lenz supports his clients at RLT as a qualified consultant, auditor and tax advisor.
Stefan Lenz has extensive knowledge of sustainability reporting and thus supports companies of different sizes and ownership structures in optimizing existing reporting in accordance with international standards and in preparing for mandatory sustainability reporting in accordance with the CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) and the ESRS (European Sustainability Reporting Standards).
After completing a commercial apprenticeship and a degree in economics, Stefan Lenz worked for 10 years at two of the Big 4 auditing firms. This was followed by more than 13 years at an international trading and logistics group, where he was responsible for group accounting and additional areas at holding company level. Most recently, Stefan Lenz was managing director of the group’s internal central settlement company as well as regional CFO and member of the management of the operating German subsidiary. As part of the sale of the Group to one of the leading retail and tourism groups, Stefan Lenz was closely involved in the M&A process, carve-out transactions and the post-merger integration of the finance division.
Stefan Lenz then worked for 1.5 years as an independent auditor and tax consultant. During this time, he focused on the topic of sustainability reporting and is also a member of various working groups on this topic as well as a speaker at a training event for auditing practices.
Stefan Lenz was appointed tax consultant in 2003 and auditor in 2006. Stefan Lenz speaks German and English.
